Description
CHINA - CIRCA 1900: Henan in Shaolin, China - Leaping sessions at the lake of Five Dragons. The person to the left is parrying the attack of his adversary's blow from the right foot by a perilous back leap. These spectacular and aesthetic forms have developed a lot in the past few years from the impulse of the cinema and public demonstrations. However the records give evidence of their having really existed. They were grouped under the term chin kung: the art of making light of difficulties, of leaping on the roofs, of walking in the snow without leaving a trace, of making perilous leaps.
