Description
The city of Bath looking west from the top of the Abbey's bell tower. I love the town planning in Bath, the 2000 year old Roman Baths blending beautifully with its 19th century surround whilst the hyper-modern rooftop complex belonging just as well with the 18th century town planning. The sandy Bath stone, cut into perfectly fitting blocks hardly changes colour at all as the centuries roll by and even the new shopping centre is built with sympathy for the overall.
