(Original Caption) August 23, 1922. New Yankee Stadium on East 161st Street Nearing Completion. The new stadium which will be the home grounds of the New York Yankees, is almost one-sixth finished. One-sixth of the skeleton work on the grandstand is completed. The entire structure will be finished in February 1923. It is located on East 161st Street.
