(Original Caption) Professor Charles C. Morrill of the University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine, examines a five foot long fox snake sent to him by officials of the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago. Zoo officials fear that some of their snakes are ill with a disease which they are spreading to other snakes, so they have sent four victims to Professor Morrill, who will observe them in his research lab before killing them for autopsy purposes.
