(Original Caption) 2/28/1927-New York, New York- When the Travelers Aid Society called for volunteer ushers for the beautiful Home of the late Senetor William A. Clark on Fifth Ave. Many showgirls offered their services. The mansion, valued at $7,000,000 is to be torn down, but is now open to the public before razing starts. This photo shows a view of the fireplace in the dining room of the mansion, showing the volunteer ushers in the firebox.
