(Original Caption) Above is pictured the Calle (Street) Congalio, one of the many busy retail shopping streets in Buenos Aires, like 34th St. New York. In the middle distance we see the intersection of the Calle Florida the "Fifth Avenue" of Buenos Aires, and to complete the the analogy, in the distance at left we see the huge "Casse Central" department store which would correspond to Altman's. To the left is "Mitchells" the leading English book and magazine shop in the city. Nine of the ten cars seen in the picture are of American make, and the rest of the sts. in this busy city are just as full of American cars as this one.
