The Sheepshanks Gallery', South Kensington Museum, circa 1860s, (1881). Interior view showing exhibition space designed by Captain Francis Fowke. This addition to the museum building was created to house a collection of paintings offered to the nation by John Sheepshanks, a wealthy cloth manufacturer from Leeds.
