I am still on the way to the mountain lake on the Sulzfluh (2817 meters). I have already left the road, and now going up the mountain till 1869 meters.Did you know that approximately 70 percent of the Swiss surface consists of mountains? Alone the Alps of Switzerland have already 60 percent of this surface. Everywhere mountains :-) And the ones that you see in my photos are only the medium ones. We have more than 45 mountains (it depends how you count, because there are others speaking about 150) with an altitude of more than 4000 meters. Dufourspitze is the biggest one with 4634 meters. The Swiss love the mountains over everything. The mountains are so significant that they have passed into the cultural sensitivities of the Swiss population. From a young age hikes to the mountains are conducted in the schools with the children. Hiking is a national sport in Switzerland and not Football (lol).
