I'm not a landscape photographer by any stretch of the word. I shoot them but there's something more I'm looking for; an intimate detail or feeling that will transcend the image. All year I've been sitting on my images from the trip last summer trying to understand how to describe my style of photography. Still don't have a clear answer but I'm comfortable with my eye and I guess I'll leave it with that. I felt good. I shot personal details as I wanted to remember them. The moment is captured. The chill in the air, the scent and sounds remain vivid. I know what was in my heart. Maybe that's it! The 'heart' of the moment. I'm a ' heartscape' photographer....;-)It's time to post some of them into the set.
