(Original Caption) 11/1/1915- Suffragette demonstration. On November 1st, the last day before the election, the suffragettes of the Empire State, and particularly in New York City, conducted one of the most spectacular campaigns in the history of woman suffrage. As a feature of this closing fight, 120 automobiles paraded through the city visiting the various street meetings, sixty starting in the Bronx and sixty others at the Battery, meeting in Longacre Square at 42nd Street and Broadway.
