(Original Caption) 8/16/1929-New York, NY-Bakers that knead the dough are not striking because they need more dough but because their Union label does not appear on all breads. They ask that no one buy bread without the Union label. Photo shows the bakers carrying placards. This demonstration took place at 7th Street and Avenue B.
