3rd August 1965: American hit singing duo Sonny (Salvatore Bono, 1935 - 1998) and Cher (Cherilyn Sarkasian La Pier), in London to promote their current discs, relax at the Hilton Hotel. Their single 'I Got You Babe' is currently high in the American charts. 25 year-old Sonny has made his first solo record, 'Laugh At Me', and his nineteen year-old wife Cher's record , 'All I Really Want To Do', is also steadily climbing the charts.
