(Original Caption) 12/21/1922- Assisted by the American Blue Jackets, the British Tommies load the SS Andreas, a Greek refugee ship chartered by the Red Cross, in record breaking time -- 10,000 boarding her within three hours. This started the big Constantinople Exodus as the Turks are becoming more and more menacing and now demand a huge fee for all makes of fighting and for those who want to leave the country. Shown are some interesting types of Greek and American refugees.
