(Original Caption) 4/4/1959-Hollywood, CA- Actress Shirley MacLaine (left), Academy Award nominee for the Best Actress, for her part in "Some Came Running," models the gown here that she will wear when she attends the Academy Awards, April 6th. The gown, designed by Edith Head (R), Paramount wardrobe designer, is made of expresso brown duchese satin, with a long molded bodice, a full bell skirt of unpressed pleats and matching pumps.
