(Original Caption) 5/4/1963-New York, New York- Working at the huge rolltop desk in his Greenwich Village apartment, playwright Edward Albee thinks about the next line. The 35-year-old author of the play "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" is currently working on two new plays, an adaptation of a Carson McCullers book, "The Ballad of a Sad Cafe," and a novel.
