PENZANCE, ENGLAND - MAY 26: Russell Timbrell dressed as a pirate smoke his pipe, as people gather to attempt to reclaim the Guiness World Record for the most pirates in one place, on the promenade in Penzance, on May 26, 2014 in Cornwall, England. Organisers of Pirates on the Prom Day 2014 were optimistic that more than 20,000 pirates would meet on the Penzance seafront to reclaim the world record they set three years ago, however the total was 14,155 pirates, 77 shy of the current world record now held by Hastings.
