Farnsworth, television wizard of San Francisco who plans to inaugurate a transmitting station near New York for the radiation of pictures and music on commercially practical wavelengths. Farnsworth is only 24 years old but is considered a master mathematician. He graduated form Brigham Young University, and is a Mormon in faith.
