(Original Caption) 1/26/1954-New York, New York- Metroplitan Opera stars Lucrezia Bori and Giovanni Martinelli make a recording with the same accoustic equipment used at Enrica Caruso"s first recording session in 1904. The occation was part of the ceremony at Carnegie Hall, Jan. 26th, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Caruso's first recording. Accompanying the singers is veteran violinist Gabriel Peyre. Observing is George R. Marek, of RCA Victor records.
