(Original Caption) 6/10/1933-New York, NY- Max Baer, who projected himself into the forefront of contenders for the heavyweight championship by defeating Max Schmeling, former champion, last night, June 9th with his fiancee, Miss June Knight. Under questioning, Baer admitted that he and Miss Knight would "ankle up to an altar" once he gets his divorce decree from his wife.
