(Original Caption) His Knowledge a Source of Revenue. Calcutta, India: One of the few official letter writers of this country as he appeared at an Indian bazaar. These men make quite a living writing letters for their more illiterate Brethren. In his spare time he reads the Koran, the open book shown in front of him.
