(Original Caption) Wesley L. Smith, eastern division superintendent of the N.A.T. (left) and Colonel Charles Lindbergh, who offered his services in the search for the lost mail pilot Thomas P. Nelson, who was missing for several days, but whose body was found, on December 5, in a ravine near Cleveland, Ohio. Smith is showing the Colonel the route planned for the search. Two hunters, Joseph Vincent and Louis Bolinger, of Cleveland, found the body.
