NEW YORK - DECEMBER 17 : American jazz bassist Percy Heath (April 30, 1923 - April 28, 2005) performs at the Cabaret Theatre on December 17, 1979 in New York City, New York. He was the brother of jazz saxophonist and composer Jimmy Heath and jazz drummer Albert Heath, who, together, performed as the Heath Brothers. Percy Heath was a founding member, with drummer Connie Kay, of the Modern Jazz Quartet (MJQ).
