Artist's Description
Sea Stacks, Bandon Beach, Oregon. This is the final picture from one and half days of shooting at Bandon Beach that included two sunsets and one sunrise. It was the most productive time at the beach. After this session, the weather turned for the worse and Bandon became very cloudy and windy. This image was shot after sunset with fading light. As with the other images from this series, this is a HDR tone mapped image created from five bracketed frames. I processed this one as realistically as I could for a HDR image and tried to keep the hue subdued as well. A long exposure time (2.5 seconds) created nice blurred waves. I returned to the beach the next day for the sunrise as well, but that session was not as productive. I will post few images from the morning session before closing this body of work from Bandon beach. Thank you very much for all of the views and comments.Best viewed full screen in black.
