(Original Caption) 9/26/1957-London, England: John Osborne, one of Britain's angry young men is shown in his London home seemingly contemplating his actions after atacking the "ridiculous anachronism" of royalty. Osborne, one of the most successful of Britain's young playwrights, wrote in a magazine that the "meaningless symbol" of the monarch was a bar to socialist education. This is the second attack on England's Royal House in two months. Early in August Lord Altrincham criticized the queen's conduct in her role and the court that surrounds her.
