(Original Caption) 4/29/1927-London, England- Photo shows Mr. J.L. Baird, inventor of television at left, with his assistant, Mr. B. Clapp, at the power plant at Couladon. Mr. Baird is working on an actual television transmission of images across the Atlantic Ocean to New York. He sails soon to receive the first actual image transmitted across the ocean.
