(Original Caption) 10/31/1968-Teaneck, NJ: Vice President Hubert H. Humphrey is greeted by a not too friendly number of placards as he addresses students at Fairleigh Dickinson University here October 31st. Trying to woo the young people, the Democratic presidential candidate promised if elected to coordinate an arrangement between Universities and branches of local and federal government whereby students would receive academic credit and financial assistance for participating in government.Image provided by Getty Images.
