VIETNAM - CIRCA 1900: House of clan in Hoi An, Vietnam - Hoi An, the ancient city of Faifo located on the Thu Bon River 30 kilometers south of Danang is for us one of the most beautiful city in Vietnam. Hoi An was a thriving town, situated on the sea routes of the silk trade. She underwent an expansion from the fifteenth century, wealthy merchants settled there and built counters and large solid wooden houses. All styles are found in Hoi An: Chinese, Japanese, French and even have the brand architecture of this city world heritage of humanity by UNESCO. 844 buildings are listed for their historic and architectural interest.
