With a Fordham tackler frantically clinging to him, left end Herb Maffet, of the University of Georgia enters the end zone with the pigskin clutched tightly in his hand, to score Georgia's only touchdown in the Georgia U.-Fordham Intersectional Gridiron Thriller at the polo Ground. Maffett took a forward pass from teammate Green, and raced to the score. The final score for the game was a 7 to 7 tie. Maffet was selected as an All-American in 1930.
