We the residents of this earth associate the color green with growth, generation, life and hope based primarily on the fact that it is the color of the plants growing up. Man has ravaged the Earth for countless years and is now waking up to the fact that maybe a Green World is what will save the planet from a Nature going berserk because of centuries of excessive depletion of the flora and forests.Rice fields in India or for that matter anywhere in Asia have this transluscent green of the young crop which evokes many aahs and oohs from the city bound people when they do chance upon such a sight. A farmer strapped on with a mobile sprayer for insecticide/weedicide traverses a lonely furrow in the sea of green.The promise of Paradise is also such in the religion of Islam and hence the color green being sacred in that particular religion.
