A ranch in the high desert of Arizona, on the the Naat Tsis Ann-Navajo Scenic Road (Hwy 98). Ranching in the high desert is challenging. In some areas the ration is 1 cow per 1 acre. A simple wire fence marks the edges of the ranch and keeps the animals in the area. Look carefully to see the rancher's structure which provides the animals some shelter from the elements such as sun and rain.
