(Original Caption) QUANG TRI PROVINCE, S. VIETNAM: Necessity being the mother of invention, this imaginative GI lights up a hooka made from a wine bottle and a .45 caliber shell in his living quarters here recently. An anti-drug crackdown is currently under way here and is expected to last about 90 days. To get at pushers operating outside bases, MPs send long-haired GIs in armored personnel carriers down highways in search of sellers. They stop periodically to try and buy drugs. If and when a pusher is found, the GIs radio a helicopter hovering over the horizon which follows the pusher to his supply cache.
