(Original Caption) Exportation of food products by Germany shoots living costs sky high. Because Germany is exporting her food products the Germans are facing a near-famine due to the high cost of food. On March 12, in the Lustgarten in Berlin a mass meeting was held to protest against the exportation of food products. The exportation of fish especially seemed to be the principal feature of the meeting. Placards requesting that fish products be kept for home consumption instead of exportation were carried by the masses.
