Artist's Description

Plant environmental control engineer, Roger Sedran, examines a fume eater, which swallows odors from an adhesives curing oven at PPG Industries Adhesives and Sealants plant. The $100,000 gas fired unit, described by the company as representing the latest in available technology for such operations, consumes solvent vapors at high temperatures to meet New Jersey's stringent air quality standards.
