Artist's Description
(Original Caption) 5/25/1954-Toulouse, France: The daring young girl on the flying trapeze of musical fame, and in this case, Bertha Omankowski, trapeze artist, became a bride yesterday. After the church wedding the bride and groom, Roger Decugis, 25, still in their wedding attire, climed the tight wire sixty feet above a crowd of 20,000 where they were blessed by Abbe Simon, well known for his dives into the Seine in aid of church restoration funds.
