(Original Caption) 3/29/58-New York: Cuban rebel leader Fidel Castro is pictured in this previously unpublished photo as he addressed a mass of his followers in New York on Oct. 28th, 1955, demanding the downfall of the government of Fulgenio Batista. This meeting was the start of Castro's "26th of July movement" that resulted in the invasion of Cuba on December 2, 1956, by Castro who has been conducting guerilla warfare ever since from his oriented province base.
