(Original Caption) Women Reserve Guarding Children. Policewoman today, November 28th, began making the streets safe for children in New York. The fact that many of the city's traffic officers are serving as guards for strike breaking milk drivers has caused an epidemic of reckless driving and to guard children at school crossings members of the Women's Police Reserve are performing as volunteers in the morning from 8 to 9, at noon, and after 3 o'clock. The photo shows one of the police woman at a dangerous crossing.
