(Original Caption) 9/25/1941-New York, NY: Flushed with triumph and filled with confidence in their idols, the Brooklyn Dodgers, after learning from a scoreboard on a candy store at Adam St. and Myrtle Ave. in Brooklyn that the Dodgers have copped the National League pennant, this group of Brooklyn fans- mostly of the jitterbug variety-hurl their defiance at the Yankees, whom the Dodgers will face in the World Series. Scrawled across the scoreboard, ripped down in the enthusiasm of the moment, is the legend "We're in!!!"
