A single fishing raft belonging to the El-Molo tribe on the shore of Lake Turkana, Rift Valley Province, Kenya. The raft usually comprises five trunks from theeengol (Hyphaene coriacea) tree each measuring approximately 2.50 metres and is constructed by men. The trunks are tied together by a rope (auno). A long stick usually serves as a paddle (ayaam). This is usually carved from the wood of the edome (Cordia sinensis) tree.
