(Original Caption) This is the way they did it in "them olden days" explains Douglas to Jim Thorpe. In the old days they used a sword instead of a baseball bat says Douglas Fairbanks to Jim Thorpe the famous Indian athlete who is now an outfielder on the Portland team of the Pacific Coast League. Douglas is dressed as Robinhood the character he will next portray. Thorpe while playing on the Carlyle institute kicked a punt for 95 yards, the record for such a stunt.
