I photographed this Cheetah in the Northern Serengeti.They are the fastest land animal in the world. Cheetahs eat mainly gazelles, wildebeest calves, impalas and smaller hoofed animals. Today, an estimated 9,000 to 12,000 cheetahs remain in the wild in Africa. Down from an estimated 100,000 just 100 years ago. I feel fortunate to have seen many of these beautiful animals in their own habitat.
