(Original Caption) U.S. Cavalry troops gather on the Mexician border. The greatest concentration of American troops on the Mexican Border since 1916 is taking place now as the civil war between the Federal and rebel factions of Mexico is fought nearer to the boundary line. This photo shows the Seventh Cavalry moving out of el Paso onto the way to the border opposite Sonora where the fighting is now centered, the Rio Grande is at the right. The railroad tracks in the center are those of the Southern pacific transcontinental line.
