Cathedral of Saint Basil the Blessed was built in Moscow on Red Square from 1555 to 1561. It features distinctive onion domes and is the most recognized building in Russia. A bronze statue commemorating Dmitry Pozharsky and Kuzma Minin was erected in front of the cathedral in 1818.
