(Original Caption) Literally Speaking. Ludington, Michigan: Here's one time the over used expression, "He wrapped his car around a tree," is literally true. Everett Durham, 22, of Scottville, Mich., told police he swerved to avoid hitting an animal on the road at night and his car skidded out of control into the tree. He escaped with only cuts and bruises but a passenger, Roberto Vullereal, 22, also of Scottville, was injured more seriously.
