(Original Caption) 9/30/1947-New York, NY: Yankee and Dodger fans are jamming the Yankee Stadium today for the opening of the World Series, to root for their teams. To W.M. Barrett, the Big Diamond Jubilee is strictly a business opportunity. He expects to do a booming trade selling Yankee souvenir programs.
