(Original Caption) Photo shows Bobby Jones Turning in card 66 for first round. Bobby Jones captures Southern Open Golf Championship. Playing over his home links against a field that included almost every ranking pro in America, Bobby Jones on March 26 won the Southern Open Golf Championship by eight strokes, with a total of 281, one stroke more than par for seventy-two holes over the East Lake Course at Atlanta, Georgia. Photo shows Bobby turning in a card of 66 for the first round, one of most brilliant rounds in the history of golf. Willie Burke in front of Clearwater, Florida. Followed close behind with 72.
