(Original Caption) The best of friends are Bil Baird (at right, of course) and his bug-eyed puppet. Of his creations, Baird says "they are caricatures. When puppets look like humans, they are a lot less effective. But a caricature-why that's where puppets belong. "That's why I emphasize the visual and stylized."
