(Original Caption) 9/17/1929-Paris, France- A strange hum, suggestive of bin vivandiere, sounds through the numerous bars and cafes of the Montmartre, in the Latin Quarter of Paris, France, when the hour strikes twelve. In this sanctum of artistic Paris, we find the ever-present tourist, enjoying a fleeting hoiliday, in the full flavor of its ville lumiere, mingling with the intellectuals, artists and models who have segregated in this modern center of culture.
