Artist's Description

(Original Caption) No Music Here. New York: Recently a college professor, made the statement nowadays babies do not cry, they just try to imitate musical instruments. No doubt the babies' cry is music to the mother's ear's but it is doubtful whether it sounds like music to the neighbors in the middle of the night, however the cameraman tried to verify that statement of this certain professor by sitting baby Florence Mahoney in the horn of Max Rosen's tuba as the latter played a tune. Baby Florence's accompaniment as she let out a yell was far from musical.
