(Original Caption) 3/31/1927-Major H.O.E Seagrave, the noted daredevil auto racer of England, broke all auto records for speed recently when he drove his four-ton Mystery Z over the sands at Daytona Beach, FL., in the remarkable speed of over 203 miles an hour. On one stretch he attained speed of over 207 miles an hour. Photo shows Major Seagrave being congratulated by Gar Wood (right), the famous speedboat pilot, shortly after the run.
