(Original Caption) 11/19/20: Armenian women joined the forces of the men folks in their recent defense of Adana, Galicia, when the Turkish forces were besieging that city. This girl soldier left the cook house of the Near East Relief in Adana to fight in the trenches. Her sister and the latters children shown in the photo were largely responsible for her actions. She knew what would happen to them if the city fell to the Moslems.
